window manager 変更（続き）[2003-09-23]
昨日のサイトを参考に startx の中を見てみる。
そしたら、何と ~/.xinitrc を見ようとしていない！！！
すぐさま以下のように変更した。

userclientrc=$HOME/.xinitrc
sysclientrc=/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
clientargs=""

if [ -f $userclientrc ]; then
    clientargs=$userclientrc
else if [ -f $sysclientrc ]; then
    clientargs=$sysclientrc
fi
fi

これで起動して、、、、OK!!!

起動したあと、kterm だけ起動して free でメモリ使用状況を比較。

       total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 30872 28412 2460 18892 1016 16768 window maker
Mem: 30872 27976 2896 17792 3216 15992 twm
Mem: 30872 27240 3632★ 18036 3012 14448 blackbox

まあ、ちょっとだけいいのかな、って感じですね。

コンソールモードにて。
Mem: 30872 17640 13232 10316 2724 8952 デフォルト
Mem: 30872 14540 16332★ 7728 2392 8028 5つ外した。

Xwindow 関連が効いているようです。
もちょっと増えないもんかな。
