４月１日、今日はウソを吐いてもＯＫな日〜。
ウソをついても今日だけは、死後の審判で、舌をひっこぬかれずにすむらしい。わたしはよく、二枚舌と言われる。それゆえ日常的にウソをついても、予備があるから大丈夫なのだ。		 Today is April 1, April Fool's Day!

４月７日、今日は桜の日〜。
桜の中に流れる樹液を、カブトムシは本当に美味しそうに吸うなぁ。それを見て、自分も樹液を吸ってみた友人がいる。彼は、とても美味しいから君も吸ってみて、と言ってきたが・・・・・。人間は、大変な労力をかけて得たものを、実際より素晴らしいものと思い込みたがるものだからな・・・・・・・。		 Today is April 7, Cherry Blossom Day.

Once there was a boy who thought making the ferris wheel go faster would make it the most thrilling ride in the park. One day, the boy made his dream come true, but his gondola couldn't handle the terrible speed and centrifugal force, flinging it far off into the sky. The boy is probably still high in orbit over Filgaia.......
４月９日、今日は正直の日〜。
正直という言葉は果たして美徳であろうか？わたしは違うと思っている。美徳扱いにするべきは素直の方だと思うのだ。だってほら、考えたことを得々と語るわたしは、イイ奴ではないが心根が透けて見える正直な人だろう？		 Today is April 9, the Sincerity Day.
Is sincerity really a virtue? I don't think it is. Honesty is a much better trait to call a virtue. I say this, because hey, I'm not exactly a good person, but at least I'm honest enough not to hide anything.

心臓が毎日動いてくれるから、わたしも毎日動くことができる・・・・・・・。だが腎臓だって肝臓だって、毎日働いている。なのに彼らには記念日がないのだ・・・・・・。今日は密かに虐げられている彼らにエールを送りたいと思うのである。		 Today is April 10, Heart Day.
My heart works hard everyday so I can move and work normally. My liver and kidneys also work hard each day too, but they don't have days named after them........ I'd like to give my personal thanks to these unsung organs.

There was a baker who dreamed of baking a bread that popped. Using thin crusts, he created a bread in the shape of a six shooter that actually popped. ライバルとは、好きな敵と書く。好きな敵がいると、勉学・芸事・業務等、上達が早くなるらしい。やはり、この世でもっとも大切なものはＬＯＶＥということなのだな。		 Today is April 13, Nemesis Day.

もう頑張る根がない・・・・・とか、人は泣き言を漏らしがちだ・・・・・・。しかし、その根とは、ＣＯＮ・・・・すなわち、ＣＯＮＳＴＩＴＵＴＩＯＮから来ている事を、あなたはしっていたか。		 Today is April 14, Con Day.
To con someone means to argue against them. Another meaning is to swindle. A con also means convict. Although commonly mistaken, the real meaning of con in Con Day is constitution.

今日はレジスタンスが勝利を得、クレイボーンを作った日。そのため今日はレジスタンスのお祭りがある。政府側とレジスタンス側に村民が分れ、戦いのまねっこをするのが、メインイベントだ。・・・・・・もちろん最後は政府側が負けるのだ。クレイボーン人はレジスタンス魂を忘れないためこのお祭りを催すそうだが、イベントを考案した時点で魂を忘れてると思う。		 Today is April 15, Resistance Day.
It's the day the resistance forces won and Claiborne was founded. The Resistance Festival is held today and all the villagers divide into feds and rebels to show a mock battle. The feds always lose at the end, of course. Claiborners started the festival to commemorate their rebel spirit, but I think it defeats the purpose when you make a festival out of it.
４月１６日、今日は布袋の日〜。
布の袋の内側に、ロウを塗ると、防水性が高まるな。この場合、ロウの方が布よりも良い働きをしていると言える。だからこの物品は布袋ではなく、蝋の袋と呼ぶべきだと思うがどうだろうか。		 Today is April 16, Sack Day.
Covering the inside of a sack with wax makes it water-tight. In this case, the wax is much more useful than the sack. In my opinion, we should change the holiday to Wax Sack Day. What do you think?

体の中にいろいろなものを隠しこめる特技を持つ、樽のような体をもつ男が、とある海賊団にいた。彼は自分の体を使われてばかりだったので、ある日キレて樽を発明した。目論見通り、海賊団の荒くれ者たちは何か隠したいときには樽を使うようになったが、樽男は己の存在理由がなくなって悲しんだそうだ・・・・・・・。		 Today is April 17, Barrel Day.
On a certain pirate ship, there was a man who had a body like a barrel. He was able to hide various objects inside his body. Angered by other pirates abusing his talent, he invented the wooden barrel. From then on, the pirates used barrels to hide their weapons and loot, but it saddened the barrel-like man, for he lost his sense of purpose.
４月１８日、今日はファルガイアの日〜。
ファルガイアに優しくしよう！と訴える人がいるが、わたしは生暖かく程度のふれあいかたが好きだ。だってわたし自身、下手に優しくされるよりも『しょうがないなぁ』って見守られたいのだ。		 Today is April 18, Filgaia Day.
Some extreme people holler, 'Be kind to Filgaia!' But I prefer a more restrained approach. I'd rather be seen with a laid-back attitude than having people going out of their way to be kind.

その村ではその年、とにかく雨が降らなかった。そのため村長は、通りすがりの聖者に雨乞いをたのんだ。村長の訴えを聞いた彼は、重い口を開き、雨を降らすためには村人全員が、水玉模様の服を着て願うことが必要だ、と言った。実は彼は、彼好みの村娘に、彼好みの服を着せたいだけだったのだが・・・・・・。見事雨が降ったので、今日は水玉模様の日なのだ。		 Today is April 19, Polka-Dot Day.
One year, no rain came to the village. The village chief sought help from a passing saint for a prayer for rain. 膝の裏は、押すとカックンカックンする場所だ。だからわたしはかーくんと名づけたのだが・・・・・。その晩膝の裏が夢枕に立ち、それは嫌だと、よよよと泣き崩れました。		 Today is April 24, Back-of-the Knee Day.

４月２５日、今日はコーヒーの日〜。
年貢の豆を収めなくてはならなかった農民が、貯蔵しているうちに、ウッカリ腐らせてしまった。悩んだあげく、彼はその豆にお湯を注いでみた。美味しいではないか！というわけで、コーヒーが作られはじめたのである。		 Today is April 25, Coffee Day.
A farmer who was storing beans for landowner's tax accidentally let his beans go rotten. Wondering what to do with the damaged beans, he poured hot water over it. 'Mmm, this smells good!' he said. And that's how coffee was invented.

薬草を煮て毒薬をつくり、それを使って憎い女を殺そうと思っていた、暗い男がいたという・・・・・・。だがある日、うっかり彼は、薬を服に落としてしまう。その染みは、なかなか取れない・・・・・・。それを見て彼は、己の作った薬を、緑色の絵の具として売ることを考えついた。		 Today is April 26, Idea Day.
There was a gloomy man who tired to make poison from herbs to kill the woman he hated....... One day, he accidentally spilled the herbal mixture over his clothes, leaving a green stain. ジーパンと呼ぶとカッコ悪いらしいが、薔薇はどんな名前で呼んでも薔薇理論でいけば、特にそんな呼び名は関係ないと思わないか？それに、ジーパンの方が、何かが弾けてとんで出てくる効果音のようで、かわいらしいような気がするのだが、どうか。		 Today is April 30, Jeans Day.
