Travelin' Man
The recording of Travelin' Man is a combination of then and now.
The music was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama by Gary, Billy, Leon,
Rickey, Hughie, and Owen on January 28, 1997. Ronnie's vocals were
originally recorded on July 7 & 9, 1976 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta,
Georgia and are on the version of Travelin' Man on the double live album
"One More From The Road". The original master tapes were given to us by
MCA, then Joe Gastwirt at Oceanview Digital Recording "baked" them to
restore the quality of sound. Ronnie's vocal was then "lifted" from the
original tape and Ben Fowler put it in the music track. Johnny's vocals
were mixed with Ronnie's for this historic track.
